CERN Aspires to be a role model for environmentally responsible research.
Since 2017, the Organization has produced biennial environment reports designed to measure, understand, and reduce the laboratory’s impacts on the environment.
The laboratory’s 4th environment report, covering 2023-2024, was released in 2025.
